Bahraini opposition: No dialogue before fulfilling the demands of our people
Bahrain (Islam Times) – Five Bahraini opposition associations called on the officials in the Kingdom to fulfill their demands before engaging in any dialogue with the government.
The associations said in a statement that the rumors of the arrangements regarding a national dialogue that includes the opposition forces to end the crisis in the country will not be of benefit nor will it be feasible if the national legitimate demands are not fulfilled.

The statement clarified that these demands encompass a government that represents the will of the people, a fair electoral system with complete legislative, monitory, and financial jurisdiction that ensures equality among the citizens.

The associations demanded the establishment of a reliable and independent judiciary and the participation of all the fragments of the Bahraini society in forming the different security and military institutions.

The statement was signed by: The Islamic National Accord Association (Al-Wifaq), The National Democratic Rally, The National Democratic Unionist Assembly, The National Brotherhood Association, and The National Democratic Action Association.
