Qatar pressuring for ending Al-Assad’s era before March
Al-Dabi accused the armed groups of using thermal bombs and missiles against the citizens and the governmental installations and service and economic related ones. He also mentioned that some of the mass media contribute to misrepresent the facts and incite what leads to congestion ... All this provoked the Gulf states, led by Saudi Arabia, which announced the withdrawal of its observers from the Arab mission, a step followed by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), whose number of observers is about 55.  The proposed Arab paper entered into a route through which the observers do not see but only more bloodshed clearly supported by some of the Arabs. This comes despite what was announced by the Assistant Secretary of the League Ahmed Ben Helli that the mission of observers will continue its work in Syria if the government agreed to extend its mandat.

The reason for the revenge from the mission of observers, as many observers and analysts say and as well-informed Lebanese sources told “Islam Times”, is that this report revealed the involvement of the Gulf states, led by Qatar and Saudi Arabia, in the killings and violence in Syria and that those States seek to internationalize the crisis to serve their interests in the region. In fact, this explains their withdrawal from the mission, for it was clear that the real goal is based on the continuation of violence in order to facilitate the efforts of the United States in the Security Council to impose sanctions on Syria.

The diplomatic Lebanese sources specified that the paragraph that talked about the elections under international supervision means putting Syria under American and Gulf commandments, and what was said about the election of a constituent assembly means delegitimizing the current political process in Syria to highlight later the ratification of the Arab resolutions by the Security Council to implement  the Qatari demand to harmonize the position between the Gulf and the international powers so that to weaken the regime and thereby passing what the weapon failed to reach after it was used a lot in the Syrian street. Regarding that Al-Assad would delegate his deputy - the diplomat said - that this is in favor of Syria and Russia, for Al-Assad does not mind to delegate his deputy to negotiate with the opposition, and Russia will not mind to include the Arab initiative in the Security Council resolution, but would refuse to adopt anything that is contrary to its invariables in the Syrian crisis.

From here, the diplomatic source say that the next phase is very sensitive, because the Gulf states are not willing to back down, but they are determined to move forward with what they announce and hide to lead the actual threat to the peak if the acts of violence and sabotage were increased inside Syria in order to put more pressure on the regime to force the world powers to intervene directly to internationalize the Syrian crisis.
This Gulf American deficit in front of the high tone statements - as the sources told “Islam Times”- will grow more in the coming days, because these countries seek to anticipate the date of assuming the Presidency of the Arab League by Iraq next March, upon which a lot of hopes rely in order to go out of the gaps of the summits faced by the Arab league. This what could change the course of the wind, and thus the commission would come out of Qatar’s prison, which aims at isolating Syria and bringing it down as happened in Libya, especially that there is information, almost certain, that state that the Syrian President is planning to participate in the summit that is scheduled to be held in Baghdad in support of the Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.

The sources predict that Syria would help Iraq to head the League so that to deal with this crisis from the perspective of the constructive dialogue between the regime and the opposition in order to have a Syrian internal solution that come from inside Syria without international interventions that would add more complications to the crisis, after the split already found at the Arab and international levels between the supporters and rejecters of the internationalization of the crisis at the expense of the Syrian people.

The source reveals that Washington is working through Qatar based on a programmed plan aiming as a first step at pressuring for engaging international observers among the Arab ones, in preparation for presenting the crisis in the UN Security Council from the perspective of human rights, circumventing the Russian and Chinese positions that consider that Syria is a red line.
