Will Prisoners of Freedom’s strike ignites a third Palestinian uprising?!
News reported from the Israeli prisons point out the deterioration of the health of a number of prisoners and the transfer of a number of them into isolation rooms in the Israeli hospitals.

Observers are expecting that the prisoners’ ongoing strike going is going to lead to breaking the truce and initiating a third uprising (Intifada) in case the occupation authorities continue to ignore the prisoners’ demands. Meanwhile, the Islamic Jihad Movement warned that it would militarily respond to Israel if they harm the prisoner Bilal Diab who’s been on a hunger strike for 64 days and was transferred into the hospital after his health deteriorated. Abu Ali Mustafa warned from harming the Secretary-General of The Popular Front, Ahmed Saadat.

As a warning of the worsening of the situation, Khaled al-Batash called to an urgent meeting between President Mahmoud Abbas and faction leaders to immediately form a government and start the work of the election committee in the Gaza Strip in order to end the division in dealing with the current situation.

Israeli leaders are afraid of consequences of the current situation in case the hunger strike continued, and called for the improvement of the prisoners’ conditions. However, Netanyahu and his government have not yet issued any orders regarding fixing this issue.
