Trump an erratic, unbalanced president

“He [Donald Trump] said that North Korea no longer poses a threat and Americans could sleep well at night. This is the problem we have with a president who is clearly unbalanced,” Wayne Madsen an author and investigative journalist said.

Madsen argued Trump’s mental state and fluctuating personality permits his removal from office: “The 27th amendment of the US constitution should have already been invoked. This man should have been removed from office for obvious mental problems.”

North Korea as an “unusual threat”
President Donald Trump declared on Friday that North Korea is an "unusual and extraordinary threat" to US national security as he acted to maintain harsh economic sanctions against Pyongyang, despite a historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un earlier this month.

At the summit Trump had said he formed a “very special bond” with Kim and that Washington’s relationship with Pyongyang would be very different.

Trump’s stern tone on Friday and his list of accusations against North Korea marked a complete reversal from Trump’s optimistic language following the summit with Kim in Singapore.

"Sleep well tonight!" the president had tweeted on June 13. "There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea."

The official declaration and sanctions against the North came in a notice to Congress on Friday, in which Trump ordered that economic restrictions would continue for one year.
