Islam Times - The representative of Hamas called the retreat of the Israeli military from Khan Yunis after more than 50 days of crimes as an indication of its military and strategic failure in imposing a reality on the ground in Gaza.

Hamas representative in Algeria Yousef Hamdan, in an article for the Mehr News Agency, wrote about different aspects of the withdrawal of the Zionist military from Khan Yunis.

The withdrawal of the occupation forces from Khan Yunis means the declaration of the Zionists' failure in their mission in Khan Yunis which was to get the commanders of Hamas, return the prisoners, and attack Rafah, Hamdan said.

The occupiers thought that by staying in Khan Yunis and exerting pressure on the command center that they envisioned for the Hamas movement in this area, they could put pressure on Hamas but the Resistance forces in Khan Yunis and across the Gaza Strip immediately recovered themselves, he added.

Hamdan further said that this issue also proved that the Hamas movement and its military wing can engage in unique attrition operations against the occupiers and turn the scenario of staying in Gaza into a nightmare for them.

The occupiers think that their withdrawal shortly before the new round of talks will reduce the value of the possible results of reaching an agreement that would oblige them to withdraw from Gaza, he continued.

We are sure that the political battle is going on as well and with the same strength as in the battle on the ground. the Hamas representative said.

The occupiers have no choice but to agree to the agreement; Otherwise, we know how to force the occupiers and their partners to agree to an agreement that will lead to the cessation of aggression, the arrival of aid to Gaza at the same time as the occupiers leave it, and the release of our prisoners, he stressed.
