Islam Times - The Palestinian death toll in the Gaza Strip from ongoing Israeli attacks has risen to 33,899, the Gaza Health Ministry said in a press statement on Wednesday.

The Israeli military killed 56 Palestinians and wounded 89 others during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 33,899 and injuries to 76,664.

The statement noted that some victims remained under the rubble amid heavy bombardment and a lack of rescue crews.

Israel waged its brutal war on besieged Gaza on October 7 after Hamas carried out an unprecedented operation against the occupying entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

Israel has imposed a complete siege on the densely populated territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
