Jerusalem (Islam Times) – The Mufti of Jerusalem Sheikh Mohammad Hussein warned the Zionist government of ratifying the bill that it will consider in its next meeting and which entails preventing calling for prayer over loudspeakers in the territory of 1948 that surrounds the Zionist towns and stressed that the bill is an assault on the freedom of worship.

The Mufti of Jerusalem, and in a statement of which Islam Times received a copy, demanded the necessity of intervention to prevent the ratification of this racist bill and warned that it will entice large debate and controversy in the Islamic world.

He said: “The bill exposes the racism of the occupying state which announces that it is a democracy. This bill and other bills discriminate between an Arab citizen and a Zionist citizen within the state.”

He added: “If this bill is ratified then we will resort to international organizations and human rights associations to escalate the matter and Muslims inside the occupied Palestine territory of 1948 will not remain silent and they have their protest methods.”

It is scheduled for the occupying entity to consider the bill next Sunday.
