US President Obama calls for continuation of Boston bombing probe
The US president said on Friday that he had instructed the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Department of Homeland Security and the US intelligence community “to continue to deploy all the necessary resources” to back the investigation and to collect intelligence.

“How did they plan and carry out these attacks? And did they receive any help? The families of those killed so senselessly deserve answers,” Obama said after the capture of the second suspect in the fatal bombings on Friday.

The second suspect of the bombings, 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, was found in a boat in the backyard of a house in the city of Watertown on Friday.

A neighbor found Tsarnaev "covered with blood" in a boat and informed the police, who surrounded and arrested him after a fight that continued for almost two hours, Boston police chief Ed Davis said.

Dzhokhar and his elder brother, Tamerlan, are the main suspects in two bombings in Boston on April 15, which left three people dead and more than 170 injured.

They are also accused of killing a Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer on campus late Thursday.

“We will determine what happened. We will investigate any associations that these terrorists may have had. And we'll continue to do whatever we have to do to keep our people safe,” the US president said.

Boston Mayor Thomas Merino also told reporter after the manhunt that led to Dzhokhar’s arrest, "I'm so happy because the people in the greater Boston area will be able to sleep tonight because of the work of these individuals."
