Islam Times - Syrian army thwarts biggest Daash’s offensive in Al Hasakah

Islam Times - Sources in Syria have confirmed to Islam Times that the Syrian army managed to rebuke the biggest offensive to date by ISIL aka Daash (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) in Al Hasakah.

While the armed forces managed to regain control of the situation it was not without dire losses and the sacrifice of many brave soldiers.

Al Hasakah province is now under the complete control of the military and officials have already announced that all will be done to restore law and order within the region as to allow residents to resume their lives under the protection of the state.

Even though ISIL has attempted to run stories in the media claiming to have defeated the armed forces, it has now become clear that such reports were fallacious, a mere attempt to discourage Syrians and erode their courage.

Backed up from the air, soldiers besieged Daash’s positions, overwhelming terror militants in their number and fire power.
