Daash Commander is arrested in Baghdad

Islam Times - Iraq authorities confirmed on Saturday that its security services successfully intercepted and arrested a high ranking terror Commander affiliated to ISIL aka Daash (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) alongside a number of his aides.

The group of terrorists was arrested in Adhamiya, a northern district of Baghdad.

The group’s location was revealed by a terror prisoner.

As it happens the terror commander is a former Baathist militant and served as Major General under Saddam Hussein. This once again reinforces the tight link in between Baathists and ISIL.
