Islam Times - Tribal sources in Ibb – central province of Yemen – have confirmed that tribal leader, Sheikh Saleh Gulab and two of his companions was ambushed by gunmen on Friday morning as they were travelling on Yarim road.

Tribal sources in Ibb – central province of Yemen – have confirmed that tribal leader, Sheikh Saleh Gulab and two of his companions was ambushed by gunmen on Friday morning as they were travelling on Yarim road.

A source told Marib press – local news outlet - that the Sheikh’ attackers began shooting at the group, clearly intent on killing all of them. Another tribal leader, Sheikh Ahmed Damh was killed in the same manner in the same stretch of road two years ago.

Sources have warned that the killing was clearly revenge motivated.
