Tripoli stands at the edge of a precipice

Islam Times - As tensions are mounting in Lebanon over fears that ISIL militants will attempt to establish a foothold in the country, thus bringing terror and death in their wake, security sources have warned that the Lebanese city of Tripoli is quite literally tittering over a precipice.

Sources have confirmed that Tripoli has been infiltrated by ISIL operatives over the past months, living many to fear that violence is bound to escalate in the coming days and weeks.

Security officials have stressed that they remain on high alert, their attention focused on Tripoli.

It is believed ISIL will attempt to use the city as a cornerstone for its advances in Lebanon.
