Daash militants attack Baiji refinery

Islam Times - Local sources in the province of Salahuddin confirmed to Islam Times that Daash militants attacks Baiji refinery in what has been understood as yet another attempt to seize control over Iraq’s oil wealth.

Two suicide bombers targeted an area north of the refinery.

Two vehicles laden with explosives targeted a security outpost some 40 km north of Tikrit.

Followed was an attack on foot by militants.

Sources noted that clashes are still ongoing.
