Islam Times - After the Syrian Army successfully reclaimed the town of Mork – suburbs of Damascus – troops began scanning the area for terror cells, determined to flush out any militants and crush any hope for a counter-operation.

Despite increasing pressure on the Syrian government, the military has proven to be far more resilient than anyone could have ever anticipated. Aware that only they stand to oppose the terror, Syria’ sons have given everything they got to this fight.

Airstrikes raged on Khan Wormwood and Beit Jann Rural, as troops moved towards Quneitra.

Sources on the ground have confirmed that Daash suffered heavy losses and casualties under Syrian fire, forced to retreat from their positions. A well-known terrorist, Ahmed al-Khatib, nicknamed Balbahq is believed to be among the dead.

Moreover in Hama and Raqqa the army ordered foot soldiers to spread out and flush out terror cells in view of regaining complete control of the area.

North of Homs fierce clashes were reported.
