Islam Times - “Australians for Syria” supports the national economy

Islam Times - A delegation of the Syrian community in Australia transferred large amounts of money to the Commercial Bank of Syria, converted from the US dollar in the Syrian Pound, in an initiative to support the national economy.

Islam Times: Maher Dabbagh, Syria's Honorary Consul in Sydney said the delegation's visit is very important to lay bare the lies being circulated about what is happening in Syria, stressing that Syria will remain strong with its people, leadership and army.

Habib Sara, coordinator of the group "Australians for Syria", said the delegation's visit to Syria comes to express standing by Syria and its people I the face of the conspiracy, support to the ongoing comprehensive reform process and rejection of any foreign interference in the Syrian internal affairs.

Sara said in a statement to SANA that the delegation visited Tishreen Military Hospital in Damascus and saw the criminality and terrorism that the injured army and security forces personnel have been subjected to at the hands of the armed terrorist groups.

“This can't be accepted in any country in the world, and this criminality must not be allowed to continue claiming more lives among the army forces and the civilians,” Sara added.

He stressed that the Syrian community in Australia strongly denounces the conduct of the countries supporting the armed groups, noting that the media instigation being practiced by some tendentious channels seeking more bloodshed among the Syrians is evidence of the failure of the conspiracy targeting Syria.
