6th consignment of Iranian humanitarian aid received in Pakistan, more assistance on the way for flood affected people

Islam Times - 6th contingent of Islamic Republic of Iran’s humanitarian aid for the flood affected people of Pakistan has reached in the country on Wednesday...

Islam Times: According to a statement issued by Iran’s Red Crescent Society, the 38 tons and 600 Kg contingent contains 800 tents and 10,000 tins of bean. The assistance goods are currently being distributed in the flood affected areas in Pakistan.

Another shipment from Iran’s city Bandar Abbas was also sent on Wednesday to Pakistan the Red Crescent Society. The assistance is comprising 16,000 blankets.

Care taker of Hormozgan Red Crescent Society said here Wednesday, it is 2nd batch of IRI humanitarian aides for Pakistani flood stricken victims from Bandar Abbas.

On other hand, Grand Ayatollah Syed Ali Sistani and Grand Ayatollah Mokarem Shirazi handed over $50,000 each to the Iranian Red Crescent Society for the flood victims of Pakistan.
