Galion: The International community should pressure Russia to adopt a resolution against Syria

France (Islam Times) – The Syrian opposition leader Borhan Galion asked the international community and the Arab League to adopt the Security Council’s resolution against Syria as soon as possible.

Galion, and during a press conference after meeting with the Italian foreign minister Guilio Terzi Santagata in Rome yesterday, considered that: “protecting the Syrian people is the responsibility of the United Nations.”

He added that according to his opinion: “In Syria there is no civil war, but a regime that is seeking to suppress the people and alienate each side of the community against the other.”
