The Al-Saud Family in the scope of the West
The French “Le Figaro” newspaper stated that the Saudi king, during his meeting with the French Minister of Defense “Uri Morne” on the fifth of this month, announced- using reckless words- that Iran does not deserve to live, and should not stay alive.
On the other hand, American sources revealed that the Saudi king criticized during his meeting with U.S. President the ineffective economic sanctions imposed on Iran and their hesitating expansion. He asked Washington to put the heaviest possible pressure on Tehran.
During the meeting, Saudi Arabia’s king also criticized Obama’s diplomacy against Iran, pointing to the fact that Washington should adopt better methods that would increase the pressure on Iran and prevent the nuclear development therein.
As a matter of fact, the Saudis, those who do not dare to make such statements but only secretly and behind walls, had intended as usual to neglect these statements and to reject them after being published and circulated in media. However, the spread of this news across multiple sources, as well as the Saudi rulers’ fear of demonstrating the truth of their beliefs, show that the rulers of Al-Saud family have an agenda. This also confirms the interplay between those statements and the practical steps that they take.
Thus, let us have a look at this Saudi agenda, during the past few years. In fact, the Saudi agenda shows the Saudi princes’ conflicting views with the Islamic Resistance Front in the region and in the world.
The July 2006 war on Lebanon
The July 2006 war launched by “Israel” against the Islamic resistance in Lebanon is considered one of the most models that indicate the policy and the point of view of the rulers of the Al-Saud family towards the Islamic resistance in the region. The Islamic resistance in Lebanon has faced the usurper Zionist entity in the most difficult circumstances and conditions. Yet, the Al-Saud family was not satisfied that it did not provide any support to the Muslims against the Zionists, but it also intended to incite the Zionists and to provide funds for them. Moreover, the Muftis of the Al-Saud family issued Fatwas prohibiting praying for Hezbollah’s victory in Lebanon!
The Gaza War
Contrary to the expectations and wishes of Saudi Arabia and its Western allies, the July war on Lebanon ended up defeating “Israel”, thanks to the courageous and steadfastness of the Hezbollah Mujahidin (fighters). However, the ominous whoop of the Al-Saud family was raised again during the Gaza war, and the Zionist attack on Hamas. This also showed once again the Saudi bias towards the enemies of Islam.
During the July war 2006, the Al-Saud family intended deliberately to provide support and assistance to the Zionists under the pretext that Hezbollah in Lebanon are Shiite Muslims. Yet, the said family was not able to cover up this excuse, during the Zionist aggression in Gaza, because the victims this time, those who are facing and fighting, are the sons of Hamas, which does not disagree with them on doctrine and faith. The Mufti of Saudi Arabia and the head of the top religious scholars, Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh, considered that the demonstrations, which were organized to show solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza, are an aimless demagogue encouraging chaos.
Therefore, the Al-Saud family did not find this time any difference between Hezbollah and Hamas. Despite preventing any mass media to provide any support to Hamas, the Saudi government has also incited “Israel” to eliminate Hamas.
The siege of Gaza
Gaza was one of the most important commercial cities in the Middle East, but now it has become tantamount to the poverty of peoples, child hunger, and the pain of the elderly people. Its youth are facing daily the Zionist occupation forces, what made Gaza and the siege became synonyms.
During the elections, which was held on 25 June 2006, the Palestinian people in Gaza gave confidence to the Hamas Movement. Since then, the Gaza Strip was kept under a strict blockade.
The Gaza Strip residents’ only guilt was that they voted in the legislative democratic elections in favor of Hamas, and indeed in favor of the option of “resisting” the Zionist enemy, in exchange for the option of settlement and surrender. This result would make Hamas obliged to form the government, and therefore this will constitute an obstacle and a ban in face of the plans of settlement and compromise, in which the Palestinian Authority was engaged with an Arab support, especially Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The blockade of Gaza imposed on the Palestinian people in the Strip made them suffer and unable to rebuild the strip. While, Saudi Arabia along with Egypt’s dictator, continued to incite the Zionist entity to continue the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, and to eliminate the Hamas movement.
The unrest in Iraq
Iraq was not kept away from the violations and abuses of Saudi Arabia, and is still so. The governors of Saudi Arabia are seeking to make the entire region under their grip and control. Saudi Arabia is working on the one hand, through producing terrorism and exporting it to the countries of the region, especially Iraq, on creating volatile and unstable atmosphere in this country. Through this turbulent and unsafe situation, it gives America the appropriate pretext to continue occupying Iraq and to extend its troop presence therein.
On the other hand, Saudi Arabia is threatening some time, and inducing and giving bribe other times. It is also influencing the overall process of reconstitution and the formation of political institutions in Iraq, and seeking to assert its influence within the institutions of governance in the country.
In this context, Al-Akhbar news website - an opponent Saudi site - revealed the meeting that took place between the Saudi king and Iyad Allawi. The said website quoted that the Saudi king was worried that the Shiites might win again in the elections in Iraq, and asked Iyad Allawi - the Chairman of “Al-Iraqi” list - to prevent this in any possible way.
In fact, King Abdullah’s rejection to give the Shiites power in Iraq comes in a time when the Shiites form in this country an absolute numerical majority. Thus, it is normal that the Shiites form a government in it.
Saudi Arabia went beyond the political steps and actions, by threatening to spark an internal war. Turki al-Faisal - former head of Saudi security services- issued statements full of threats, in which he expressed the failure of the Saudis and their frustration because of not naming their candidate for the position of prime minister in Iraq. He said, “This would lead to bloodshed (a lot of Iraqis), and would also lead to the possibility of out breaking an internal wars!
Moving in the scope of the West
Based upon the above mentioned, we can summarize the agenda and objectives of the Al-Saud family. The history of this regime is full of many crimes, including what are clear, and what remain hidden and invisible. In practice, those crimes are going to be disclosed and exposed on other occasions, if it is God’s will.
King Abdullah’s last statements explain the fact that the regime of the Al-Saud family move within the interests of the global arrogance. All the wrath of the Al-Saud family and their rage today is due to the exposure of the fact that their regime would lead them to lose all those fake religious legitimacy and leadership, which they were working throughout the long years to install and by which they were deceiving the people.
Here is Saudi Arabia now publicly facing the ever-increasing expansion of the culture and ideology of resistance in the region. That is why all this Saudi anger and resentment toward the Islamic Republic of Iran is normal. This comes because Iran is the head of resistance and opposition in the region.
As for King Abdullah and the rest of the Saudi princes, they should pay attention to the following two issues:
The first issue:
Today Iran is the first power in the Middle East, whether the Saudi regime accepted this or did not accept it. Iran will also become in the future one of the major powers in the region. Therefore, these Saudi statements will not help in resolving the knots and problems faced by the Saudi government, but will rather lead to increase its problems in the region.
The second issue:
They must know that the front of the Islamic Resistance, which is the result of the Iranian Islamic revolution, will continue in its path with all the faith and well-established determination until it achieves its objectives and reaches the inevitable victory. Neither the Saudi regime nor other regimes as the Egyptian one will be able to obstruct any step in this field. Not so far, the liberation movements will be able to topple those unfair rulers, especially the Al-Saud family, and to cleanse the Holy Kaaba from the defilement of those princes, who have corrupt and perverse caprices.
As a conclusion, we recall the words of Imam Khomeini’s message when he was addressing the leaders of the Persian Gulf. May he rest in peace he says: the moment when the interests of the great powers are fulfilled, they will abandon you and all your old friends. Those do not have any sense of friendship, enmity, or service. They do not know but only their own interests”.
