Peace and order come to Damascus southern suburb

As dissident elements have been driven out from more areas, the authorities have been able to restore state services and amenities, thus allowing civilian life to return to normal. 

Sheikh Al Issa explained that under the state’s impetus more residents have laid down their weapons and surrendered to the state, keen to return under the authority of the government without fear of repercussions.

Roadblocks have been removed and stability has returned.
