Enemy will not hesitate to exploit Lebanon’s weakness and power vacuum
Speaking on Sunday in Bekaa on the 14th anniversary of Lebanon Liberation Day, when Hezbollah fighters successfully managed to push back Israel troops from southern Lebanon, thus marking a brilliant victory against tyranny, Kabalan made a moving declaration of hope and resolve before adversity.

He urges all his countrymen to remain aware of the threat posed by Zionists and their never-ending plotting and scheming in the region as they ultimately seek to control the entire region.

He noted that he personally wished for Lebanon to move forward with the presidential elections as the country needs clear leadership. He strongly advised that all factions should pull together for the sake of the country in order to preserve Lebanon’s independence and security.

The Amal Movement is a Lebanese political party associated with Lebanon's Shia community. It was founded as the "Movement of the Dispossessed" in 1974. The Amal Movement is, by a small margin, the largest Shia party in parliament, having thirteen representatives to Hezbollah's twelve.  Amal is currently in an alliance which includes the Free Patriotic Movement, Hezbollah, and the Progressive Socialist Party.

The Amal Movement in Lebanon is an extension of a timeless human movement, an expression of man’s hopes for a better life, which drive him to resist all that undermines his life, dulls his talents, or threatens his future.

Kabalan stressed that his faction remains determined to promote social justice and better benefits for state employee.  He added that Lebanon should immediately move toward the preparation of a new electoral law based in order to better reflect popular will.

Moreover, he reinforced his faction desire for inter-faith tolerance and solidarity, saying that in his mind sectarianism equates to sedition.
