Bahrain’s naturalization plan exposed
” This is the most horrifying crime committed against the people of Bahrain throughout its history”, he said.

He added that the controversial report of Al-Bandar, that was revealed ten years ago,is being implemented through carrying out wide measures to replace the people of Bahrain, Sunnis and Shi’ites, with foreigners.

He pointed out that the rift continues to grow between the regime and its people as alarmingly horrifying numbers of naturalization come to the surface. “After the pro-democracy uprising that erupted in February 14th, 2011, the regime started to naturalize huge numbers of foreigners”, he added, “the regime hides these numbers, but the fertility in Bahrain has dramatically fallen so there is a big difference in the vital statistics of deaths and births and the number of Bahrainis listed in official documents. This difference is the least number of foreigners the regime has naturalized”.

He added that the destructive project of naturalization is a major element for destroying the national economy. “This mass naturalization increases the number of the population and is risky to national economy which is weighed with more costs including salaries, retirees-salaries, housing projects, schools, hospitals and many other services. In 2014 alone, Bahrain’s debt rose to $5 billion”.

Al-Sebi’e stressed that the regime must bring this random distribution of naturalization to a halt and re-consider the situation of those persons who have received nationality in contradiction to the law. “The regime should conduct a genuine dialogue to lay a road map to resolve this problem and the situation in Bahrain and fulfill the people’s aspirations “, he said, “Immigration of indigenous people and settling of other people in their place happens in Bahrain and Palestine”.

Al-Sebi’e said, “The Authority in Bahrain objected to Qatar’s naturalization of Bahraini families, recently, and the Foreign Minister is talking about the destabilizing effect of Qatar naturalizing Sunni families from Bahrain. But At the same time Bahrain revoked citizenships from 40 Bahraini citizens and is requesting them to leave. This clearly illustrates the plans to change the demography of Bahrain”.

“The regime in Bahrain did not set certain standards for the naturalization, the majority of the naturalized foreigners are of low-educated and come from different cultural backgrounds”, he pointed out.

“This political naturalization is posing a real threat to the social fabric and national security.
State-services are over-crowded and the indigenous people are suffering from inadequate services”. He concluded that the official random naturalization has caused serious unprecedented problems to the social life in Bahrain, several crimes occurred in Riffa’a, Muharraq, Hamad Town and Jau where the naturalized foreigners are settled”.
