The Second Battle for Qalamoon
A military source told Syrian Arab news agency that the army soldiers tightened their grip over the rebels in the areas of al-Sheikh Said, al-Mashhad, al-Enzarat, Salah Eddin, al-A’azamiya, al-Mansoura, Kwaires, al-Jandoul, Handarat Urm, Hraitan, Khan al-Asal, Baben, al-Maslamiya, A’azaz and Banan in the countryside of Aleppo, leaving a huge number of them dead and injured.

Meantime, the hideouts of the insurgents were also stormed by the Syrian soldiers in Damascus countryside. Scores of the rebels were killed in Jarrod al-Kalamoon, Adra al-Balad, Douma al-Doukhanyeh, Zamalka, Jobar, al-Bilalyeh, al-Zamanyeh, al-Qasimyeh, al-Ghouta, Tal Kurdi and Tal al-Sawan.

Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs and terrorists against both the army and civilians.

The unrest, which took in terrorist groups from across Europe, the Middle-East and North Africa, has transpired as one of the bloodiest conflicts in recent history.

As the foreign-backed insurgency in Syria continues without an end in sight, the US government has boosted its political and military support to Takfiri extremists.
