Islam Times: The Palestinian prisoner's association said in a press release on Wednesday that the Israeli prisons authority (IPA) claimed that the attack was meant to inspect the rooms and to search for smuggled mobile phones.
It added that Palestinian minors detained in the prison without trial suffered breathing difficulties and were beaten by the Nahshon soldiers.
The prisoners went on a hunger strike that would last for a week in protest against the measure and threatened to extend the strike if the prison administration did not respond to their demands, the association said.
It strongly condemned the IPA's ferocious offensive, charging the IPA with provoking and harassing the prisoners.
