He stressed that Hamas is now negotiating around Israel to ensure that Gaza continues to advance toward final victory. “Hamas will monitor the enemy and decide on whatever course of actions it sees fit.”

Al Masri noted, “Netanyahu was forced to sign a truce agreement, retreat and leave behind all Israeli captives …” Hamas’ victory against Israel has been celebrated throughout all the Palestinian territories and has given hope to millions.

Hamas will now work toward a prisoners’ exchange with Zionists.

Al Masry echoed Khaled Meshaal’s comments.

“Hamas will not cease resisting Israel until all its demands are met,” Meshaal said on Thursday, adding the latest Gaza conflict was only "a milestone to reaching our objective". Speaking at a news conference in Doha, where he lives in exile, Meshaal said the group would never give up its arms as part of any deal. He also said the group's military commander, caught earlier this month in an Israeli air strike, was "fine".
