Gulf Intelligence behind Beirut Explosions, Perpetrators Hide in Arsal
"There are three groups responsible for these operations, whether planting improvised explosive devices on the Chtaura - Majdal Anjar - Hermel road, firing rockets at Beirut or preparing bombings," Amin said during an interview with Al-Manar TV.

"Members of the group committed to firing rockets are unfortunately Palestinians, the most prominent person named Ahmad Taha and is located in Arsal," Amin stated, adding that "Taha is managed and driven by the leader of one the known Islamist Palestinian factions."

"However, the group that was used to bomb the Chtaura-Masnaa and Chtaura-Zahle roads is based in Majdal Anjar. Lebanese army intelligence has a list about their activities. They are of Lebanese and Syrian nationalities who resisted the army units while pursuing them," Amin went on to say.

He pointed out that "those who blew up the suburb (Dahiyeh) and Hermel are now in Arsal and have 3 direct and indirect actors: a Palestinian, a Syrian and a Saudi," noting that that planning for bombings in Bir al-Abed and Ruwais has been made in the Bekaa town of Arsal.

Regarding the investigation in Bir al-Abed violent blast, the Lebanese journalist said that "Information Branch - whether deliberately or not deliberately - takes zero to ten," recalling that it could do a lot in following files of spy agents.

As for Bir al-Abed bombing, Amin unfolded that the meeting to plan for the attack was held before July 7. And on July 8, three people were assigned to implement the planning.

"The three moved in a car from Arsal to the beach in Beirut to steal another car and trap it. They stole a Kia-type car after showing weapons for the young man and young girl who were inside it. Then they moved their bags to the Kia," he stated.

"They trapped the car in an area adjacent to Dahiyeh on July 9. Then they moved it from the Airport Highway to the southern suburb and detonate it there," he continued.

"Those people are also in Arsal," Amin said.

A booby-trapped car, filled with more than 100 kg of explosives, went off in the Ruwais neighborhood in Dahiyeh. At least 24 people have been martyred and 336 others have been left injured.
