Silence over Gaza's massacre is a deplorable crime, says Tahir Ashrafi

Talking to Islam Times on the side line of conference in Islamabad, he noted that such silence is actually criminal, especially in view of Israel severe and disproportionate aggression over Gaza and all surrounding areas. 

He said, “International silence over Palestine’s blood shed shows once again what double standards the EU, UN and United States continue to perpetuate.

Israel is committing genocide against innocent men, women, children and elderly in Gaza whereas the United Nations, America and Europe watch idly, doing absolutely nothing.
He also criticized the role of Islamic countries, slamming then for not raising their influential voices against Zionists’ aggressions on Palestinians.

The PUC chairman also denounced the role of the government of Pakistan stressing that Pakistan government's condemnation before such Israeli aggression is not sufficient. “Pakistan should instantly convene a conference of Muslim rulers and come up with a clear policy against Israel aggression,” ha called.

 He further called upon Muslim rulers to unify their ranks and raise an effective voice for Palestine. He noted that Israel is targeting helpless Palestinians mainly because of the Muslim Ummah's weakness.
