The Zionist entity canceled the decision to demolish the Maghariba bridge under Arab and Islamic pressure
The Aqsa foundation issued a statement saying that these news demonstrate the importance of the local, Arab, and Islamic movements that advocate the Blessed Aqsa Mosque and Occupied Jerusalem issues. The foundation thanked all those who have contributed in the Aqsa Mosque issue since the mosque is being exposed to risks and assaults by the Zionist occupation, and at the same time they stressed that the issue was not yet resolved and so everybody must continue their efforts in this regard.

The statement added: “We stress our constant demand which is the cancellation of the Zionist occupation’s plan to demolish the Maghariba Gate road and build a military bridge instead. The risk to the Aqsa Mosque will not go away except by the departure of the Zionist occupation from it and hence the Foundation will continue with its efforts to protect the mosque which includes the campaign of ‘Warning cry: Save Al-Aqsa so that it is not demolished” which has been launched a month ago. The recent developments show the credibility of this campaign and once again we confirm that the Islamic Endowments in Jerusalem is who has the right to repair and restore the mosque and its facilities which include the Maghariba Gate.”
