America's Crimean Quagmire

Pushing Washington's propaganda as gospel over what the U.S. should and should not do makes for great political theater designed to mislead the American public but is by no means conducive to a peaceful outcome. Toss in a tyrannical American President that onerously thinks he can write an Executive Order giving himself the ability to seize anyone's assets who opposes Washington's attempts at fueling war with Russia over Ukraine and you have yourself quite a quagmire (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37963.htm [1]) as the U.S. is by no means omnipotent and not everything is our responsibility (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37955.htm [2]).
 
Psychopaths and Sociopaths on the right side of the political spectrum are dubiously claiming that President Obama's supposed weakness somehow allowed Moscow to engage in allegedly aggressive moves against Crimea. The typical dumbasses on the other side of America's political spectrum are still pushing the bogus claim that not attacking Syria on Israel's behalf has made the U.S. look weak. And of course, Israel's leadership has to get in on the action too and try to make President Obama look weak for not doing what they want done (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37994.htm [3]). Frankly, they are all quite full of shit as the fact of the matter is that there is very little the U.S. can do about Crimea (link: http://www.alternet.org/world/dirty-little-secret-us-foreign-policy-crimea-theres-not-much-we-can-do [4]). The uproar over Crimea is geared toward the West's push -- backed by many U.S. Corporations (link: http://www.alternet.org/news-amp-politics/exposing-us-corporate-interests-behind-ukraine-putsch [5]) -- for austerity measures on and the plundering of Ukraine.
 
The fact is that Moscow has every right to assert its powers in areas within its rights regardless of what the West says or does, especially when you factor in the truth that what happened in Ukraine with the overthrown of its democratically-elected government has all the earmarks of an International crime caused in large part by the U.S. and its crooked cronies in the European Union and NATO. Were it not for the fact that the indelible trio colluded with and supported neo-Nazis and fascists (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37905.htm [6]) to kill innocent Ukrainians and force Ukraine's president out of office for purely Capitalistic and Military endeavors, none of what is happening in Ukraine would be going on in the first place.
 
US IN NO POSITION FOR CRIMEAN LEADERSHIP ROLE
 
Moscow sending Russian troops to Crimea to protect Russian lives and bases is no different than the U.S. sending troops to seize Panama in 1989 in the name of protecting American lives and American bases. Since the majority of Crimea is Russian, Moscow has every right to protect them. Because the U.S. has such a stellar track record of funding terrorism in places all over the world to suck up all the finances and resources they can, it's not surprising that Russia would respond the way it has. Despite whatever attempts the U.S. and its cronies made to influence the outcome in Ukraine after perpetrating regime change, it remains the responsibility of Ukrainians to change their government, not profoundly corrupt Western powers.
 
The U.S. is in no position to take any type of leadership role in the situation in Crimea. Listening to blowhards like U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry telling the world "you don't just invade another country on phony pretext in order to assert your interests" while accusing Russia of violating International law after the U.S. destroyed Iraq on phony pretexts reveals the astounding depths of stupidity America's leadership has. When the U.S. unconditionally supports Israel's illegal occupation of Palestine and the ongoing genocide Israel has perpetrated there, it's impossible to take the Obama administration seriously or give them any credibility when talking about violating International law, yet here they are again dragging mankind down a catastrophic rabbit hole (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37904.htm [7]).
 
In acting as Washington's Ministry of Propaganda, America's pusillanimous press corps has stooped to new lows that they may never recover from. Promulgating Washington's propaganda while ignoring the facts and blindly leading the U.S. public into America's Crimean quagmire reveals the astonishing depths of deception and incompetence that has turned America's Democracy into a joke. Trying to legitimize a violent neo-Nazi putsch by the U.S. and its allies to overthrow the Ukrainian regime reveals just how corrupt America's corporate media has become (link: http://www.commondreams.org/view/2014/03/17-2 [8]). Putting fraudulent "experts" on the air to try and sway public opinion worked for the illegal invasion of Iraq but it won't work anymore. America has had enough of the anti-Russia pro-war propaganda campaign (link: http://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2014/03/21/pers-m21.html [9]) already.
 
THE CORRUPTION AND COWARDICE OF AMERICAN MEDIA
 
Since Iraq, America's pusillanimous press corps have steadfastly opted for pushing Washington's bull shit as fact. Look at the Syrian false flag chemical weapons attacks. When the White House was caught in the middle of that humongous lie, American media pushed their lies as fact despite the evidence revealing that the U.S. played a major role in that failed regime change plot. Instead of looking at the facts and reporting on them, America's pusillanimous press corps repeated Washington's lies verbatim, in effect reprising their roles as propaganda pushers as they did during the Iraq war. Nothing has changed.
 
Look at the riots in Kiev. Washington tried blaming the sniper fire that targeted women and elderly people on the government of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych even after an intercepted phone conversation between Estonia's Foreign Minister and European Union Foreign Affairs Chief over a conversation with a doctor in Kiev revealed that the sniper fire that killed protestors was the same that killed Ukrainian police officers. The important evidence over who killed innocent Ukrainian civilians and police officers that sparked the violent regime change in Kiev was purposely ignored by America's corporate media. America's Crimean quagmire is due in large part to the corruption and cowardice of America's corporate press.
 
Once the Ukrainian coup was complete and the violent riots in Kiev had settled down and it became obvious to anyone paying attention what was really happening in Ukraine, Crimea decided to secede from Ukraine and join Russia (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37974.htm [10]). When it was announced that Crimea was going to do that, Washington and its cronies went berserk (link: http://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2014/03/11/ukra-m11.html [11]), going so far as to threaten retaliation when Crimean's overwhelmingly voted to do so (link: http://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2014/03/17/ukra-m17.html [12]). Washington and friends tried to declare Crimea seceding from Ukraine to join Russia illegal but that didn't work either (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37959.htm [13]). Instead of thanking Vladimir Putin for a painful yet much needed lesson on how to protect his country's genuine national interests (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37979.htm [14]) Washington and company threatened war and sanctions against Russia (link: http://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2014/03/18/ukra-m18.html [15]). In typical fashion the indelible trio's Imperialistic hypocrisy (link: http://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2014/03/17/pers-m17.html [16]) has been on full display during since the Western-induced Ukrainian crisis began.
 
WASHINGTON’S GAMBIT INTO DESTROYING UKRAINE HAS FAILED
 
As the Western-backed neo-Nazis take over Ukraine with EU funding (link: http://www.alternet.org/news-amp-politics/russia-1-regime-changers-0 [17]) and the impending austerity attacks loom, it is beginning to appear that Obama and the West's Ukraine gambit has fizzled and Putin is in the driver's seat. Despite the typical bloviating from Neocon War Hawks in Washington (link: http://www.commondreams.org/view/2014/03/14-9 [18]) who are playing the usual games (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37964.htm [19]) and calling for military actions while the U.S. Pentagon wastes yet more taxpayer dollars to "read the body language" of Putin -- who has reacted to the West's Ukrainian cluster you-know-what humanely and rationally (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37894.htm [20]) -- for guidance (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37900.htm [21]) there is very little the U.S. can do about its Crimean quagmire. Yet the profound ignorance and endless delusions from Washington continue (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37908.htm [22]).
 
Since Obama's gambit to extricate Ukraine from Russia's sphere of influence failed (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37982.htm [23]), Russia will have to face a litany of asymmetrical attacks including Western-sanctioned covert operations, special ops and armed jihadists to incite violence in Crimea (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37996.htm [24]), which has already begun as snipers have reportedly stirred up violence in Crimea again (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article38002.htm [25]). Using snipers -- as they did in Kiev -- is a common form of false flag terrorism and implementing regime change (link: http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2014/03/snipers-commonly-used-false-flag-terrorists.html [26]). Putin is well aware of this and has responded accordingly (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37897.htm [27]). Washington needs to take a break from its quest for global domination (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37893.htm [28]) and quit advancing its empire on such duplicitous grounds especially in areas involving Russia who is all too familiar with Washington's criminal escapades (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37962.htm [29]).
 
Putin recognizes that there is no limit to the hypocrisy, lies, evil, stupidity and aggressive nature of the Anglo-Zionist empiric agendas whose criminal actions are a threat to Russia (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article38004.htm [30]) and Russia has every right to defend itself against such actions (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37944.htm [31]). Washington has a dubious history of "helping" people anywhere and everywhere when those people just so happen to be living on or near valuable resources (link: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article37931.htm [32]) and Ukraine is the latest victim in its sights. Twice now Washington has tried to start confrontations -- once in Syria and now Ukraine -- and twice those attempts have failed. The second attempt has resulted in America's Crimean quagmire we face to today as a result of blow back (link: http://www.commondreams.org/view/2014/03/20-1 [33]) from Washington's failed Foreign policies and complete disregard for International law (link: http://www.commondreams.org/headline/2014/03/20-0 [34]) which begs the question: Are they ever going to learn?
