Islam Times: Lawyer for the foundation Ahmed Al-Beitawi in a press statement on Wednesday
denounced the Israeli intelligence for using alleged secret files as
pretexts to administratively detain Palestinians, the thing which makes the
role of defense lawyers completely useless.

Beitawi pointed out that Israel is the only state in the world that has been
using the law of administrative detention since the British mandate imposed
it in Palestine in 1945.

An Israeli court also extended the administrative imprisonment of Sheikh
Shaker Yousuf, the head of the municipal council in Rantis village, for
three months.
