Israel's racist policies spoil Labour Day joy in Golan

Story Code : 158307
Israel
Workers say they are immensely suffering from the Israeli policies against the Palestinians and Arab Syrian workers in Golan Heights. Arab workers have to get along with minimum wages which are hardly enough for them to survive, while Israelis enjoy high incomes including all taxation benefits.

Observers say the Israeli embargo on the occupied Golan, preventing it to sell some agriculture goods to Syria, and rising unemployment have created an economic disaster which should be addressed immediately by the international community.

The Israeli aggressive policies against the occupied Golan Heights workers have left them struggling and unable to provide their families with basic daily necessities.
