To the martyrs of Palestine
By: Sadik Al-Asaad

I would like to tell them as Ghawar has said when he was addressing his martyred father: O martyrs of this nation, enjoy what God Almighty has granted you when he raised your rank with your martyrdom, and do not worry, we are all right. We are still fulfilling the promise; we are still fighting and confronting the occupation. We have been able, thanks to your sacrifices and the sacrifices of “those who await (their chance), and they did not alter (the terms of their commitment) by any alteration”, to overthrow the occupation and to force it out of the proud ‘Gaza Hashem’. I would like to tell you that this was achieved because of the blessing of the unity of blood and determination among all our people, and this unity is now reflected in its finest forms. Believe it or not, a lot of the names you used to know, and maybe some of you became martyrs based upon their mottos, had disappeared and the national movement was formed instead and all the Palestinian people were involved in it. We did not hear after that anyone praising any organization, and everyone was allied in one circle i.e. the circle of fighting the occupation. Yes, do not be surprised, I know that this is impossible, but we were able to achieve the impossible.
Thus, ‘Gaza Hashem’ became a fine example of our national unity. All the forces of liberation in the world are praising it and are studying it as a successful experience that could be applied in their countries. In fact, this happened only because of your sacrifices, so enjoy the rivers of honey, and don’t worry about us. Do not be surprised if we told you that the Gaza experience is moving to the West Bank now, and that the Mujahideen (people doing jihad) have been able to liberate Ramallah and Nablus, and we are heading towards Jenin and Tulkarm. Moreover, our fighters are now encircling the remnants of the settlers in the city of Ibrahim Al-Khalil and we are awaiting the signal to head towards Al-Aqsa. In other words, things are all right and we are moving towards liberating Palestine from the sea to the river, for your blood and sacrifices were not in vain.
I do not want to prolong my word, but I only want to add a few words. Not all what was said is true. Do not believe everything you are told. I am an excellent first class liar, for ‘Gaza Hashem’ became a courtyard for the Palestinian-Palestinian killing, and murder is committed based on the identity therein. Sorry O martyrs of Palestine, I swear to God we feel very ashamed in front of you, for we have wasted your blood and we were busy playing the game of the fake chairs. How strange, we are very tough with our own people; we are bombing them with mortars and with all the different weapons. All the more, what is worse is that we are killing in cold-blood anyone we get hold of out of our enemies i.e. the Fatah and Hamas movements and we are moving in large numbers to attack and forcibly enter into the houses. We abuse the women, we scare the children, we mistreat the Sheiks (religious officials), we kill the young people, and we kidnap the hostages. Moreover, I think we are now going to commit rape, since they (the women) are as if captives and we have the right to have pleasure with them, and more.
On the other hand, we did not see the said strength and force when confronting the enemy. We returned to the era of the masked people, recalling the Lebanese civil war and the massacres of Tel Zaatar (The Hill of Thyme in Arabic), Al-maslakh (the slaughterhouse in Arabic), and Sabra and Shatila. Perhaps we can ask today’s masked people: if you do think that you are right, why you are then frightened, and why you don’t unveil your face! We know that you are cowards and that is what prevents you from unveiling your faces because when doing so, you will find even the wombs of your mothers disowning you and your deeds.
We apologize to you, the martyrs of this nation, and we shamefully lower our heads in front of you, not knowing what to tell you. Do not be surprised if we told you that we hope now that Sharon wakes from coma to govern Gaza again with iron and fire, as he has been doing since the seventies of the last century. We also hope that he puts his foot in the West Bank; perhaps then he could unite our lost unification.
I think that I have already prolonged my word and have made you worry, but do not be scared, we will rise up again. There is no doubt that our people will neglect all those people, and they will not mention them but only as they mention Ibn Maljam, Al-Alqami, Abu Lu’lu’ah Al-Majusi, and all those who were harmful to this nation.
