Zionist officers that have used violence against the Palestinians were promoted

Islam Times: Islam Times correspondent in the West Bank reported that Gants decided to appoint the officer Itai Firop as commander of the what is called "paratroop and infantry weapon", despite of being reprimanded for supporting the use of violence and beatings against the Palestinians.

The officer Itai Firop expressed support for the use of violence against the Palestinians. He has testified in favor of another officer who severely beat a Palestinian without an apparent reason.

Officer Firop said, in his testimony in court, that violence is required with the Palestinians and is part of the arrest.

The officer's testimony pushed the military Attorney General to investigate with the officer, and the commander of the Central Region of the Zionist occupation army reprimanded him and stopped his promotion from the former Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi, but the new chief of staff canceled the decision of his predecessor and ordered the promotion of the officers.

According to what was reported by the Zionist radio station, the so-called (Golani) pedestrian brigade commander Ovik Buchris will be promoted and appointed commander of the Task Force reservists in the northern region of occupied Palestine and the brigade commander (Nahal) Amir Abu Al-Afiyah will be promoted to a senior officer of poll combat of the Zionist enemy.
