PRC: We are ready to fight a more 'ruthless' battle with Israel

Abu Ataya, the spokesman for the al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, said the group's "bullets, missiles, fighters, and people are ready to ensure the battle of liberation by every possible means."
 
He said that the group is "prepared to sacrifice that which is most precious and valuable (to it) in order to achieve liberation."
 
Abu Ataya also resolutely condemned any attempt to disarm Gaza-based militant groups, saying: "We are convinced that no power in the universe can take away our arms, and attempts at discussing such a matter offends our martyrs, our prisoners, and our cause."
 
The spokesman added that the group's fighters are ready to fight a more ruthless battle than the last, and that Israel is "well aware of what they faced on the borders of the Gaza Strip."
 
Since the end of a more than 50-day assault on the Gaza Strip that left nearly 70 Israeli soldiers dead, Israeli military officials have admitted to being surprised at the strength and tactics of the Palestinian military resistance forces they faced.
 
The Popular Resistance Committees is a Gaza-based militant group that opposes negotiations with Israel, and has no connection to the local popular resistance committees against the separation wall that exist throughout the West Bank.
