Disagreement in policies – Saudi Arabia and UAE

While both Saudi Arabia and the UAE have always advocated more support for militias in Syria in view of deposing Syrian President Bashar Al Assad, recent developments in Iraq have frightened the UAE.

The UAE Interior Minister Emirates Sheikh Saif bin Zayed does not want to send additional fighters in Iraq as he fear this will only worsen the situation and lead to unforeseen developments. As for Saudi Arabia it still wants more and faster.
