About the unjust death sentence of Sheikh Al Nimr

In a statement the Islamic Action Organization In Iraq warned that should Saudi Arabia ever dare carry out Sheikh Al Nimr sentencing to death, severe and unparalled repercussions would befall the kingdom. 

The organization slammed the kingdom for fanning sectarian tensions and encouraging Muslims to stand against each other at such a time when Islam faces a mortal enemy – terror.

It stressed that Saudi Arabia had distorted Islam and its message in order to serve the agenda of nefarious powers. It recalled how Al Saud and the Wahhabi hordes descended upon Hijaz, backed by western colonial forces, how they rank-sacked and destroyed the ancestral home of Islam, twisted and defiling its tradition to better serve its agenda.

the Islamic Action Organization In Iraq strongly condemned Sheikh Al Nimr’ sentence, noting that the cleric had always been a man of peace and compassion, a man whose life work has been dedicated to the people, a man whose legacy has been one of righteousness.

Revered and loved by Sunni and Shia Muslims alike, Sheikh Al Nimr has come to embody courage against tyranny. Regardless of the risks he has always spoke in denunciation of evil and oppression, calling for all Muslims to abide by Islamic traditions.
