Israel confirms providing the “Free Army” with “Shipon 300” missiles
A Zionist researcher, who participated in the “Herzliya Center” annual conference for security studies and researches, said that official Israeli parties provided the militants with these type of rockets and they were shipped in batches to the insurgents by Qatari diplomatic pouches through Lebanon and Turkey. They were also transferred on board an Italian aircraft that arrived at Beirut airport of the 22nd of this month and was carrying medical supplies to the Syrian refugees in north Lebanon, and that at the request of Borhan Gilyan to the Italian government on his last visit to Rome.

The Zionist researcher confirmed that these missiles have been actually used against Syrian armored vehicles in Homs and Jabal Al-Zawiya during the past few days. He added that they have obtained photos of the usage of these missiles and that between 15 and 20 launchers of this type have become in the hands of the militants in more than one Syrian area. Some of these launchers have infrared vision for night usage.

He continued on saying that the launchers’ technical specifications, which have been produced by the Israeli military at the end of the 70s, allows their transfer, smuggle, and usage with ease. Its weight, along with the missile, does not exceed 8Kg, and its length does not exceed 140 cm, which is very convenient for usage in residential and populated areas especially on the streets since its maximum range does not exceed 400 m. It is also very convenient to target fortifications and buildings. This is more than what the “Free Syrian Army” needs at the moment.
