An Israeli police spokesperson said, “We have three killed,” adding that four other people were also injured in a “direct hit on a house” in the town of Kiryat Malakhi on Thursday.

The Tel Aviv regime has announced state of alert across the occupied territories. Israeli schools near the Gaza Strip have also been closed, and those Israelis living within the region have been told not to go to work.

At least 13 Palestinians, including senior Hamas commander Ahmed al-Ja’abari, have been killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza since Wednesday. Two children and a woman are also among the victims.

Three of the Palestinians were killed in the latest round of airstrikes on the southern city of Khan Yunis during the early hours of Thursday.

Palestinian resistance movement of Hamas has said it is firing rockets toward Tel Aviv in retaliation for the Israeli attacks.
