Israelis target Arabs in racist motivated attack
Investigators believe the attack was racially motivated and have launched a probe. No arrests have been made thus far.

Police suspect that the two Palestinians, Amir Shawiki and Ahmed Kasuani, residents of the Beit Hanina neighborhood, were spotted in the nearby neighborhood Neve Ya'akov as they were heading home. The Jewish youths then proceeded to beat the two men, who suffered injuries in the head and other parts of their body.

Investigators believe the attack was racially motivated and have launched a probe. No arrests have been made thus far.

The two Palestinians were rushed to Al-Muqased Hospital in the east Jerusalem village of A-Tor.
The incident occurred amidst great tension in the capital, as security forces were on high alert for rioting and unrest.

While Thursday night’s massive Palestinian “Day of Rage” protest resulted in 40 arrests, 200 Arab wounded and 29 Border Police officers sustaining light wounds, the expected rioting after Friday prayers was largely contained.
