Anti-Israel rallies continue across the world over Gaza offensive

People opposing Israel's war on Gaza march in San Francisco, the US, on Sunday.
Hundreds of Jordanians gathered near the Israeli embassy in the capital, Amman, on Sunday, calling for the closure of the diplomatic mission over the Israeli atrocities in Gaza. But security forces at the scene prevented the protesters from marching toward the building.
 
In another rally, a group of US demonstrators gathered in front of the White House in Washington DC to protest Tel Aviv’s escalating ground and aerial offensives against Gaza. They were joined by anti-Zionist Jews.

Meanwhile, people in the Austrian capital, Vienna, took to the streets to denounce the Israeli killing of hundreds of Gazans.
 
Pro-Palestinian demonstrators also gathered in the Dutch capital of Amsterdam at a rally against the Israeli attacks in the besieged enclave.
 
Similar protests were also held in Chile, Lebanon, Turkey, Britain, Morocco and Australia as anti-Israeli sentiments are running high around the world.
 
The UN Security Council has expressed serious concern over the growing number of casualties in the Gaza Strip, calling for an immediate ceasefire between the conflicting parties.
 
According to figures provided by Palestinian emergency services, the total number of Gazans killed since the beginning of the Israeli military operations against Gaza on July 8 stands at 504. More than 3,000 people have also been injured in the attacks.
 
The Israeli military has confirmed that 18 soldiers were killed in the conflict.
