The people of Jalil’ suffering goes unnoticed

Lost in the province of Khulais, Jalil has been neglected by the state to the point where residents do not have access to running water, electricity, road maintenance and a proper sanitation system.

Despite aggravated risks of flooding the authorities have continuously ignored called for a flood defense and warning system. Every year lives have been lost to flooding.

Jalil has been completely ignored, its people’ suffering discarded by the authorities as the state prefers to spend its millions in foreign aid and grants rather than help its own nationals.
