Israeli troops attack Palestinian demonstrators in West Bank
On Friday, Israeli troops fired tear gas, stun grenades, and rubber bullets at Palestinians participating in demonstrations in the cities of al-Khalil (Hebron) and Nablus and the village of Bilin in the West Bank.

At least one protester was injured and taken away by Israeli forces in al-Khalil.

The young protester was reportedly shot in the head with a rubber bullet.

In Bilin, hundreds of people, including Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad, joined the demo.

Israeli forces have killed four Palestinians and injured over 100 others since the end of Israel’s eight-day offensive on the Gaza Strip on November 21, 2012, despite the official ceasefire.

Over 160 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed and about 1,200 others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the coastal enclave.

On February 13, Human Rights Watch condemned Israel for violating the laws of war during the eight-day war on Gaza.
