US behind terrorist attack in Yemen: Houthis

The Shia group said in a statement on Saturday that such attacks would pave the way for Washington to interfere politically and militarily in the internal affairs of the country more, al-Tagheer website reported.

At least 13 people were killed and dozens more injured in a bomb explosion in the town of Hazm in al-Jawf province.

A bomber rammed an explosives-laden car into a school where many Houthi fighters had gathered for Friday prayers, destroying the entrance of the school completely.

Four passersby, one woman and three children, were among the dead people.

The statement came although Ansar al-Sharia, which is an affiliate of al-Qaeda funded by the US and loyalists to former ousted ruler Ali Abdullah Saleh’s regime, has claimed responsibility for the attack.
