Saudis, Qataris wreak havoc on Iraq after failing in Syria

Question: How do you asses Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s speaking about this campaign against these terrorists?
 
Dabsh: Yes, actually he had promised such an offensive on terrorists and militants across Iraq since about two weeks ago when hundreds of al-Qaeda leaders and militants broke out of prisons in Iraq and right now the offensive is still ongoing.
 
Hundreds have been arrested and they are really targeting the militant training camps, which most of them are located in farmland areas and the dessert areas, practically in the middle of nowhere, which would take time for the government to reach them, but nonetheless the government is reaching them and I think that this is going to go on like Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has promised it will go on until each and every last terrorist has been wiped out of Iraq. Basically, right now the Iraqi government cannot function properly with all these terror attacks happening on a daily basis.
 
    Thousands of Iraqis, over 3,000 Iraqis, have been killed since the beginning of this year, making it the deadliest [year] since 2008 and many of these neighboring countries such as Saudi Arabia, are actually, sponsoring the terrorism in Iraq and the government of Iraq has said, on numerous occasions, that Saudi Arabia, along with other countries, is pouring in millions into the hands of these terrorists and militants to, basically, cause chaos and havoc in Iraq.
 
 
Q: So, why Saudi Arabia wants to be so involved in Iraq? What is its mission there?
 
Dabsh: Well, it is not just Saudi Arabia, but I mean, like for example three days ago you had and Iraqi lawmaker who said specifically that it is Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Jordan that are causing this chaos in Iraq with the mission and goal of fragmenting Iraq and the Iraqi people.
 
    And this has been going on since 2003 and just recently it has been renewed and I think that the renewal comes as countries like Qatar and Saudi Arabia are supporting the same types of the militant groups with the same types of ideologies in neighboring Syria as well. 
 
 
So because their venture in Syria is not going the way they like they like or they want it to go, they are now wreaking havoc on Iraq, basically, kind of just like an all-out chaos, all-out havoc to, kind of, save them from what is going on in Syria and their failures in Syria right now.
