According to news reports, terrorists were able to bring explosive material into the green zone and create explosions near the country's ministries and economical institutions. In another attack Iraq's education ministry was targeted by a terrorist attack resulting in the deaths of 95 Iraqis and injuries of 563.
The political and security situation in Iraq show that America, Saudi Arabia, and the Ba'thists establish a triangle of insecurity in Iraq. America tries to have all groups and movements, who have various goals, to move in one direction - overthrowing the Iraqi government and preventing any Iranian influence.
In order to reach their goals, Washington has emphasized creating internal insecurity and creating tribal wars with the help of Saudi Arabia.
Iraqi politicians and decision makers, supported by the people, understand the political realities, the history, the security, and the economy of this country and are taking great steps in cooperation with its neighbors and attracting foreign investors in order to aid the progression of Iraq.
This policy is against America's and some of its Arab allies' strategy whose interests are hurt when nations in this region become independent. They are openly opposed to Iraq.
Saudi Arabia has expressed severe dissatisfaction regarding the widespread diplomatic efforts of Iraq and the signing of the two-sided security agreement because their influence in Iraq is dwindiling.
Pondering over the motives behind Saudi Arabia's reactions and policies regarding Iraq shows the efforts of Saudi Arabia's intellegence agencies in Iraq to disrupt security and create serious religous difficulties which would prepare the foundations for an Iraqi government suitable to Saudi Arabian tastes.
Recently, news sources reported that the Saudi Arabian government established a committee led by Bandar bin Sultan, the former Saudi Arabian ambassador to America. They actively tried to influence the parliamentary elections in Iraq trying to bring to power people who would be suitable for Saudi Arabia's cause, especially Ayyad Alawi.
Saudi Arabia wants to prevent the Iraqi government from establishing security. They are actively pursuing thier goals through terrorist actions. Along these lines, fanatic, anti-Shia, Saudi Arabian Wahabi scholars motivate terrorists by issuing anti-Shia fatwas in order to push the Saudi Arabian interests in destroying iraq.
The actions of the Ba'thists are clear and, for brevity sake, will not be mentioned at the present time.
Unity is a necessary factor behind Iraq's progression and success in obtaining independence and security. Unity is needed to bring the crimes of America, Saudi Arabia, and the Ba'thists to the lowest possible point.
