Daash closes school in Syria

The radical group has announced that it will no longer tolerate children to be taught outside what it calls the “religious curriculum.”

Experts have already warned that Daash seeks now to promote its doctrine at schools by reframing the way children are being taught and thus ensure that the next generation of Syrian are not only pliable to its paradigm but in agreement with its methods and ideology.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published a report on Wednesday in which it announced that Daash had closed down schools in Deir al Zour. The report read, “Daash closed most schools in the cities and towns of Deir al-Zour.”

It added that Daash intends to reform Syria educational system to make it fits its dogma.
