Palestinian released in Oct. 2011 prisoner swap deal rearrested
Nineteen-year-old Ezzedine Abu Sneineh was rearrested by Israeli forces at a military checkpoint on Sunday as he was returning to his home in the southern West Bank city of al-Khalil (Hebron), the Palestinian Prisoners' Society announced on Tuesday.

Several of those freed in the prisoner exchange are already back behind bars.

Among them is Palestinian activist Hana Shalabi, who has been on a hunger strike since she was rearrested in Burqin village near the northern West Bank town of Jenin on February 16.

A prisoner-exchange deal between Hamas and Israeli officials for the release of more than 1,000 Palestinian inmates in exchange for the release of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who was captured by Hamas, was implemented in October 2011.
