Bilawal Bhutto criticises Islamabad for intrusion in Middle East
Speaking on the occasion of 35th death anniversary of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the founder of the party and former Prime Minister of Pakistan, the young PPP’s Chief declared, “There are reports that Nawaz’s Government will send military assistance to Syria and Bahrain” .

He warned that Pakistan’s army should not be treated as a personal property. “Our war is still underway and you are jumping head first into another’s war,” he said.

Bilawal also criticized the government for not letting the nation know why Saudi Arabia had shown such generosity toward Pakistan.

Pakistan has recently received an aid packaged amounting to $1.5 billion dollar from Saudi Arabia. So far officials have failed to dispel claims the money came as payment for Pakistan military assistance in Syria and Bahrain. Al Saud has been rumoured by the media to have hired Pakistan’ soldiers to conduct its dirty wars in the Middle East.

The PPP chairman also criticized the government for refusing to peruse the Pak-Iran gas pipeline project.
