Israeli airstrikes wound Palestinians

Islam Times reports from Press TV: Israel carried out at least two airstrikes on the Gaza Strip early Wednesday, witnesses said, adding that the attacks targeted the east of the coastal strip.

Israeli forces injured at least four Palestinians, including a pregnant woman.

The Israeli jets and drones continued flying over the Gaza Strip as people and security forces in the coastal enclave are afraid that Israeli air force might rage other air raids during the night.

Earlier on Tuesday, Israeli soldiers shot dead one Palestinian and wounded another in the northern Gaza Strip near the Erez border crossing, witnesses say.

Israeli warplanes have repeatedly attacked Gaza during the last two weeks. Dozens of people, among them children, have been killed and injured in the airstrikes.

Tel Aviv has continuously attacked the besieged territory from air, land and sea since the end of its 22-day war on Gaza at the turn of 2009.
