Lebanon Foreign Minister refuses to put Hezbollah on terror list

He argued that the Hezbollah is an inherent part of Lebanon political structure and as such foreign powers should not seek to meddle as it would have severe repercussions for the Lebanese nation. He noted that trying to force the government to comply with foreing nations' demands simply equate to political blackmail.

"We do not want the politicization of this issue to turn into a settling of accounts." He added, "We will counteract Israel pressure . We will not allow the Hezbollah to figure on a terror, it would work against security and stability."
