Settler incursions intended to prevent Muslims from heading towards the Aqsa Mosque
Islam Times: In a statement distributed to news agencies and of which Islam Times received a copy, Abu Halabiyah assured that what happened represents a flagrant violation of all agreements and treaties and international conventions that are related to respecting the Islamic holy sites, as well as being a breach of international humanitarian law and conventions and all international legal references that dictate not violating the sanctity of holy places.

Abu Halabiyah pointed out that hundreds of Jewish settlers stormed the blessed Aqsa Mosque, and they performed suspicious tours and tried to perform biblical and talmudic rituals in different parts of the Al-Aqsa Mosque while heavily guarded by the occupation police.

He noted that the timing of these raids was to prevent Muslims heading towards to the Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan and to disturb them in the performance of worship.

It was shown that the occupation police was entering the Jewish settlers through small and consecutive groups, which each of them ranges between 15 and 30 members, through the Al-Maghariba Gate, which the entity confiscated its keys since the occupation of east Jerusalem; these groups would wander the mosque amid tight escorts, while the occupation police that escorts the settlers continue to threaten the worshipers and those present in Al-Aqsa with prosecution, arrest, and outing from the holy mosque.
